• Finally watched "Iron Man." Guess it wasn't bad for a bloated, arrogant movie with a hypocritical "message" and cartoon enemies.

• It's rare to see a movie with more than two screenwriters that turns out any good. +2 = Hollywood focus group melt. "Iron Man" had four.

• In retrospect, we can see '98's "The Negotiator" as Samuel Jackson on his way to much better movies, and Kevin Spacey on his way to crap.

• Watching "Black Dahlia" (Hartnett, Johansson) without the sound on made it SO much better!
