Whose Site is This Anyway?

Nowadays, Jon and some very talented web professionals manage this site, so my technical services are no longer needed. But I do like to contribute when I can, either by providing some editorial assistance during Jon’s writing process, or jumping in to offer my two cents when I feel inspired. Throughout the site, you’ll see many pieces have italicized introductions – many of these are mine.

If you're lucky, or unlucky as the case may be, I'll add some of my own rants to this site. However, as anyone who knows me could tell you, I'm more of a verbal ranter than a writer.

Besides Jon I'm the person most familiar with the work on the site, so I guess I should recommend a couple of pieces. I'm partial to his article paying tribute to Jerry Garcia, which I myself just read for the first time recently; his harsh criticism of the college/real-world gap; and his corporate assaults. Oh yes, and of course, his motivational rant regarding Earth Day. His music reviews are classics. You'll no doubt be amazed at Jon's willingness to tear an icon a new asshole.

On a more personal note, if you need to take a break from his rants, we've put up a poem that Jon wrote for me when we were dating. That's a good place to start it you'd like a peek into another side of Jon.
